With over a decade of hands-on experience and certifications from Highland Canine’s School for Dog Trainers, I’ve spent my career understanding the nuances of dog behavior. My approach goes beyond just obedience; I focus on building a deep, lasting bond between you and your dog by decoding their unique ways of communicating.

My journey started with my own dog, whose unexpected behavior changes sparked my interest in the complex world of canine behavior. What many see as aggression is often a range of behaviors influenced by past experiences, human interactions, or unmet needs. This understanding, combined with my certification in On-Leash, Off-Leash, and Behavior Modification training, allows me to address a wide variety of behavioral challenges.

In addition to my work with dogs, I’m deeply passionate about supporting my community and local businesses that share my values. I hold a degree in Sustainability, with a focus on sustainable food systems, and I work part-time with a nonprofit providing medically tailored meals to those in need across multiple North Carolina counties. This work fuels my belief in creating intentional positive change, not just for dogs but for people and communities as well.

What sets my training apart is its adaptability. Every dog is different, and my programs are designed to meet your dog where they are, tailoring the structure to their individual temperament and your lifestyle. My goal is to provide you with the knowledge and techniques that make life with your dog smoother, calmer, and more fulfilling.
