Even if you've
never trained a dog before, you will find our friendly staff and fun techniques will encourage you and your dog to progress
towards your goals each week. We will help you communicate with your dog regardless of his breed or age. Our methods are
based on the science of how dogs & people learn. Training a dog is FUN!
In our beginning group classes we will teach
you how to communicate with your dog. You'll learn what your dog needs from you and how to get from him behaviors you both
can live with. Basic commands such as; sit, stay, come, and down, as well as loose leash walking, wait, leave it, watch me
and stand are practiced.
In advanced classes, distractions are added to further enhance your dogs understanding and
confidence of commands. We also play practice games and simulate real life situations where dogs must be under control and
focused. Progression toward a goal of acheiving the Canine Good Citizen certification is also encouraged for dogs in advanced
classes.
Dog training is not a sprint, it is a marathon but it is one you will enjoy for the rest of your lives together.
